Is there anyone on here who has done this? How did you go about it and where did you find your job?

You may want to leave this idea a while.

A lot of expats have lost their jobs due to the downturn and many global firms downsizing.

I know of many expat children being pulled out of Singaporean schools due to parents losing their jobs and returning "home".

I'm not trying to paint a picture of doom and gloom as I do know know of new arrivals.

depends on what field you are in, there are jobs about in singapore in oil and gas, especially if you have FPSO experience, ask the same question o the AAisa forum, Problem with a lot of jobs at the mmoment is that rates are coming down,and Sing is expensive,
