Hi

After investigating an annoying 'jittering' from under the car I noticed the right hand exhaust to be quite loose. Further investigation revealed some big differences between the left and right hand fittings as in the pic. The right side just doesn't look like it has been fitted correctly.

The right angled bolt is bent out of shape on the right side and moves about quite a lot.

Does anyone know what actually holds these bolts in place and is it something I can easily fix myself getting the parts mail order? I do have access to a ramp so getting underneath wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks all.

Looks to me as the righthand side one has taken a clout and someone has done a bodge to repair it.

Mine looks like this:-

Brackets available from Racing Green http://www.thetvrshop.com/TVR/Parts/Tuscan/f|.htm

Rubber mounting £4.92
Plate £4.92
Hanging Bracket £11.22

Get new mounting straps whilst your at it... £2.58

Should be easy enough to do it...DO NOT pull your exhaust too high...keep it well away from the bodywork... rear end fires have been known in the past.
