Still looking for one of these for the drivers seat.

L33's bits have gone, Douglas Valley wont take one of their cars for some reason but .........

There is a thread titled Hard-to-get-parts and they are listed there but with no link. Can anyone help out ?

Thanks again.

Hi WP,

Not an answer for you, but I also need a cover for the driver side. Haven't been able to figure out where to get one from, in three years! frown

Hopefully someone, somewhere knows where to get them from. Bit ugly without the cover on. frown

I have been through my parts inventory and do not have any of these hard to find pieces either. WedgePerfect, I tried e-mailing you back but for some reason it kicked back to me.

If anybody finds any of these, I could use two for my wedge.

Thanks,
Marshall

Can somebody confirm that the left and right are exact mirror images....

I have one, I may make a mold and lay one up in glass fibre or resin.
(I sculp with clay, so it should be a bit easier than a human headsmile

As I said in the other thread on the same topic, try old Jags or Triumphs. If you can find any, that is wink

Jeff M - Well you have maniman and me as potential customers for your art if you figure out whether it would be a mirror image.

Keep us posted please.

If you cant find any old Jags or Triumphs laid up anywhere I may be able to get some made up by my Vac forming people in Leicester who make all of my parts for my control panels. My seats are out of my car (term used loosely here) and have both of these covers on (presuming we are talking about the end where the handle is) I could send them to them and they could make up an MDF former which is good for about 20 sets. Price is normally very low as well and I guess you could have them in any reasonable colour too.

Let me know if you are interested and I pursue it for you guys

Cheers

Shaun

Shuan

Yes, the plastic covers that cover the seat mechanisms and the levers to adjust the backrest. These little bits of plastic seem so rare to get but so easily broken by getting in and out of the car. My drivers side is broken but as per usual I would change both drivers side and passenger side for continuity.

It might be a wise little business venture and I for sure would be up for a set, possibly Maniman too and someone else on here said he needed some.

Worth an enquiry I would have thought.

Keep in touch

Hi guys,

The two covers are off my seats and with the plastic mould people. Cant believe that I actually managed to break one of them as I was taking it off (they were both perfect)frown I will keep you up to speed on how progress is going, colours available, price etc, but I guess we could have some parts within the next couple of weeks.

Cheers

Hi guys,

I have a price from the vac forming guys for the end covers off the seats. They can make a mould from my end covers and vac form new ones. The price per set will be approx £25, depending on the interest - I also need to cover the cost of the mould. They can be produced in a few colours in plain or leatherette finish. I'll get a list of colours put up. How many people are interested?

Cheers
