ECU diagnostic cable connection

I've psoted before on this, but I still can't locate the diagnostic cable connector.
I've had my head up behind the steering wheel, but no sign of it!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Found mine behind the top of the carpet attached to the side of the car underneath and to the right of the dash.

I took out my ecu the other night and there was a black connector hanging from the wiring loom i think that must be it.
