... I was at Powertec/Radical today, talking to Ted and James about what's to be done to my Clubsport engine after their intitial compression and leakdown checks - turns out its basically sound, so hopefully its just going to be new rods and pistons, a basic rebuild and, importantly, new engine seals to maintain its Powertec-ness.
While I was there I took the opportunity to look over a near-new PR6; this particular one with 1500 Suzuki motive power. What struck me was how similar it is to a Clubsport in some ways (wishbones, uprights, basic geometry), yet how different in other ways (front venturi-undertray, sidepods with aero-section vanes, rear wing etc). A proper grown-up Clubsport with full-on aerodynamics and an extra 50% or more of power - Mmmmmm!
Now then, where's that lottery ticket?
