Im looking to buy about 4 tonnes of Golden gravel for my gardening project. Does anyone have any recomendations of where to get it from.

Im based in North Yorkshire but a lot of places deliver nationwide.

Also does any one have any experiance of the best kind of base / liner to put under gravel . . its just for patio and path in garden

Cheers

I've used opened-out binliners to good effect - still working after 20 years. But don't get biodegradeable ones! But don't put too much gravel on top or nature will simply make 'soil' above them and then weeds will grow anyway.

We buy all ours from Derbyshire Aggregates.

They are based at Arbor Low Works in Youlgreave, Derbyshire.

I usually get either white cobbles or glass "mulch" but they have all sorts of gravels.
Free delivery if you spend over £100 which you will. wink

Highly recommended and no connection to me by the way.

I think it's derbyshireaggregates.com but can't be certain and can't link as I'm on my phone at minute.
