Be Careful in there. Not everything is cheaper than buying from a normal supermarket. In fact, most things appear more expensive. However there are some great products and good bargains. Motor Oil is very well priced. They have some decent watches at reasonable prices, some good specials on Garden furniture (although not these days). The AV equipment is pretty well priced - and they are very good with returns on all products. My favorite these days are the aged and hung ribeye steaks. Utterly Utterly awesome.

Another sucker, shops at Netto, again don't need your kind in their either hehe

Let's just get this straight, costco sell the best VALUE products. These are usually extremly HIGH quality products at the LOWEST possible price.

That's why you only see respected brands in there and "kirkland"

That's also why they refund anything at any time, because non of it's tat.

They also have a policy which I can only define as "no chavs/neds/other undesirables".

They knew... They always know...
They were all staring as I walking into their inner sanctum. Their secret world. I pretended to look at the tyres as a bit of a distraction, but a guy came over, smiled with a vague sense of sympathy, put his hand on my shoulder, and said "Come on.. It's over.. Let's get you home , eh?"

The only things I buy in Costco these days are full salmons to chop into portions and freeze.

And slices of pizza in the cafe.

Gorgeous.

2% back on purchases under £400 and a nicer looking black card, this coupled with the "better than you white card scum" factor makes the extra £30 a year in membership fees well worth it... I think?

They have opening times listed separately for "exclusive" members now too, it's the same opening time as normal folk but it just makes them feel better to have their own board wink

I have a white card, I'm not special. I do like cheap baked products, bargain oil and good warranties on electrical goods though. Beer and booze is generally cheaper in the supermarket, that's my only grumble.

2% cashback (well vouchers anyway) and some special offers like 25% off 4 Michelin tyres - but you can sometimes negotiate 25% off their tyres anyway when you buy 4 or more.

Isnt the exclusive times the same as trade times so you get free breakfast before noon?

That would make more sense but when I was there last night they had "exclusive trade" and "exclusive individual" cards and opening times on display which mirrored their non-exclusive versions. Perhaps it's something they introduce after a certain amount of time, I reckon I'd be tempted if they did the same breakfast deal as they do for trade. I sneaked in early when I first got a card and was thrilled with the freebies smile

Costco food is awesome. The big birthday cakes for a tenner are the best birthday cakes I've ever had. I'm going to get one for my birthday next month but not give anybody any. 'Stop looking at my cake you s'. That's what I'll say if people look at it.
