I haven't been around for a while chaps, business is mad & I have spent time on various Golf GTI sites sorting out the way to go for the wifes new car.

She is now the proud owner of a steel grey 3rd Golf GTI Edition 30....

bless her.


My S-line A4 was three years old in April & although when I purchased it new i thought I would keep it 4 years, but I am getting itchy feet & am feeling an order coming on.

The obvious change would be for a 170bhp 2.0TDI FWD.

However can i justify a 2.0TFSI, a 2.7TDI or even a Quat.

I fancy the really dark grey (had enough of black),
sat nav sound pack, B & O, leather/alcan., parking plus, cruise, 19" 7-spokes (of course), phone prep, light pack & 30mm lower.

Budget.........£27,000 ish & looking around at deals that will get a great deal of motor.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated & views from any B8 170 TDI owners

Why not go for a 3.0TDi, its a completely different animal.

I went from a 1.9TDi and even the sound of the 3.0 is phenomenal. Love the V6.
