I paid £65 for a regas just recently. The service was was excellent and the guy was a fellow car enthusiast. Probably doesn't cover the OP geographically but anyone in West and Northwest London I'd recommend him.

I used Kwik fit before in my old Peugeot and it turns out I had a leak (it went from cold to hot again within 24 hours) and they didn't check for it. I paid £45 for a regas (not advertised as vaccumm and pressure test admittedly). I'm no lentalist but this doesn't sound very environmentally friendly to me.
The guy I used a few days back vaccumed the system, talked me through the process and was able to confirm no leaks and fill with correct amount of refrigerant and oil. Plus he came to my work. Worth the extra money un my opinion.

I was gob-smacked! Last time I crossed their threshold I apparently needed 4 new shocks & two new tyres...in spite of my new MOT & only going in for tracking check - not been back to the charalatans since...
But he was adamant, £25, job done right! Not sure which Kwik Fit, guessing Bournemouth area, & I've not asked him if it's still OK...
