There is a small adjuster on the bottom of the throttle assembly same side as the cable ,i think its a 7mm spanner to adjust it , what makes you think its fuel ? makes no difference to mine what fuel i put in .
Not convinced adjusting the throttle stop is a good idea without knowing why the idle speed isnt right (assuming it is the speed that your discussing)Adrian W said:

I would suggest you get someone (who knows what they are doing) to plug a laptop in and take a look at whats going on. I would suggest Yellowshead I am biased, contact him via his profile on here.
Yep as Adrian says go and see Yellowshed he checked mine last week and uprated the map and tweeked the idle (with adjuster ) she now runs very very well !!!!! how bad is the idle ?? GC1 said:
it runs well for a few mins then starts to virtully stall, then pick ups and goes in a circle .but runs on the road at normal speed ,well.....
AS your waaayyyy up north, i would suggest resetting the adaptives, on a 3litre you pull the ecu fuse or disconnect the battery for say 20 seconds, it might have got it's knickers in a twist, do this and then go for a drive and this will sort it out.Don't know about the 2.5
well didnt play with the throttle stop as it was locked tight in,but did take the slack up on the cable slightly and this seamed to help, but after driving into work were back to square one.
where's the fuel filter,? I couldnt see it,also their seams to be a socket on the top of the engine which dosent seam to have a plug in it,and this is on the fuel side.
Their was a plug hanging down but that didnt match up,so not sure what either are for....
Oh my engine is the 2.5 Build 20 according to the last digits of the vin.

with it being an early car does is still have the original marreli ecu or the upgraded mbe ecu?.if its the marrelli then this ecu is reknowned for idle problems and is not mapable.the marrelli also runs an idle control valve next to the throttle body and this will cause similar problems to what you are experiencing.you can take it off and clean it out with carb cleaner and should make a difference.where's the fuel filter,? over the weekend found a plug that was just hanging and found this should have gone into the throttle valve regulator, but it didnt fit so after some triming with the cutters it now fits tight and problem has gone away..
It seems the person before or garage didnt do a good job.......10 min job in the end and Idles now around 800.....
