My Elise S1 is getting a full respray after a shunt and garage (Maidstone Sportscars - Great for Lotus) have today told me I can have any colour so long as I let them know today!

Am leaning towards either (Ferrari) Corsa Red or the Burnt Orange but open to ideas of ones that look great in other colours?

It was British Racing Green

If you want a bright colour definitely go for burnt orange... but it will necessitate a wheel change to black to make it look right and smoking as many coloured lenses as possible; i.e. indicators (& perhaps brake lights) to stop colour clashing

Have already been told Red screams mid life crisis but I want a red Ferrari 355 Targa Top and can't afford one yet!

Not sure of price as insurance paying but will find out.

Never in my life would I have bought a red car, however I ended up with this one despite the colour because of what it was and I quickly learnt to love the colour. Now i'm glad I bought it as I think it looks great!

Be a little different, what a great opportunity!

I would favor scandal green, chrome orange or that lovely aspen white.

Have you thought about the lifestyle white colours i.e. Aspen White. Would look lovely with a couple of green stripes (like the special edition S2 a while back but in a nicer white)

Cheers

The only colours I would have mine resprayed in, along with Type 49 colours. Red & white with gold stripe.

Saw a white one with black wheels recently. Looks absoloutly superb.

Otherwise I like orange or scandal green. Never thought red suited the s1 that well tbh.

Black looks great and mean. Or dark purple if that's your thing.
But never red for the Elise.

Just as another wildcard choice, what about something like a lambo baby blue with black wheels?

Would look a little like the Exige Club Racer

What suits an Exige doesn't always suit an Elise. Exige- Aspen white with yellow wheels AL-la Dome Judd at Le Mans last year.

Orange or yellow, then I'm biased, (I couldn't find an orange one).

Save the Lambo blue for just that. Burnt Orange, black wheels, black trim smokin

Isotope Green! I dream of an Exige in this colour!
