Car spec from reg number

I'm looking at buying a 530d m sport - reg DN06OFS.

Is anyone able to check and confirm the mileage for me(48k showing), would be very greatful.

Also is it possible to get the spec on the car from the registration number?

Call BMW and they will tell you all you need to know - but they may need the last 7 digits of the VIN which I am sure you can get.

If you cannot afford the £1 per minute on the 2 minute call, perhaps we can chip in and send you via Paypal...?

That's the problem, as i am buying at auction and don't have VIN!

The £1per minute i think i could just manage, as long as i don't get a clown on the other side!

They ask for 7 last digits of VIN just in casethere has been a plate change or whatever, but may be able to help anyway. Time to pop round to a friend/family member then...
