Could I be really cheeky and ask that someone has a decent ebay template for selling a car. I am thinking of putting a couple of cars on ebay and want my ads to look ok.
TIA
Trevor.

You want to SELL on eBay? Madman!

But seriously, they have (or had last time I looked) various themes including one with a speedo in the top. But frankly I wouldn't bother - let the product do the selling, not the template.

A decent ad can do no harm.

Why didnt I listen to everyone. 2 weeks after getting a deposit on the car I am still awaiting payment. I have had every excuse under the sun from Wedding s to children in hospital, but no cash. No more selling on ebay for me, too many dreamers and time wasters.

Stop waiting around for them. Well I would anyway, If they request the deposit back take off your admin or keep it.

Then, put it on a better site!

tell them you are relisting the car for sale unless they can collect within 3 days. If they cant, they loose the deposit. Simple.

They paid a deposit and we agreed on the balance on collection. I used a local company to deliver the car and they would pick up the balance before handing the car and documents over. The buyer lived about 140 miles away. The delivery driver rang to confirm that everything was ok before setting off but when he was 40 miles away from the delivery address they rang with an bullsh*t excuse and asked could they arrange delivery for another time. I have had to pay for the delivery and having spoke to the buyer quite a few times on the phone over the last few days it is clear that I will not be getting any money. He said this morning that he had the cash on him and was going to post it, but I said I could pick it up as I was going to be in the area this evening, I then got a lot of excuses and lies as to why he could not meet my this evening but it is clear that this idiot is lying and does not have the funds.
Why didnt I listen to everyone who warned me about idiots on ebay, but I have used ebay as a buyer for years and had no problems.
