Hi, I'm seriously considering getting back into a Noble having got rid of my Aston V8 Vantage.

For those of you who know me from the past I've had a 3R, this time I fancy an M400.

Missed out in the one at Mole Valley recently too.

Looks like it's a very rare car to get a hold of these days?

Ok, I'm curious now. Why did you ditch the Vantage?

To be fair I bought it blind. I thought it looked great and bought it with my heart !

However I spent the 6 months I owned it with the dealer or Aston Works getting things repeatedly fixed.
It was far too slow and prices for getting anything done were just plain stupid.
Aston Works and Aston themselves were not very sympathetic nor helpful when it came to me not having the car for 6 weeks whilst I waited on a set of rear shocks under warranty.

I believe there are only about 75 in the UK (less any that have been trashed). I think that puts them in the 'rare' category.

That appears to be a familar story unfortunately.I drove the 4.3 and 4.7 back to back, the 4.3 seemed to be all show and no go(in relative terms) especially when the exhaust valves opened with a wall of noise and no more forward momentum. I actually found it a bit embarrassing!.The 4.7 was much better all round, but both failed the "do I want to jump back in it test" However at least you did it, rather than always wondering whether you should have or not.

I love the look of the vantage but it is lardy (though reasonably planted) and really needs some extra (100+ ?) bhp to get me exited.
I'm going to try a DBS soon but I suspect it will be too "executive" for my taste.
