Lamborghini - who to complain to?
Discussion
If you have a complaint with a particular Lamborghini vehicle bought from an officially approved UK dealer, anybody you might speak to at Automobili Lamborghini SpA will inform you that they expect that dealer to deal with any problem you have as that dealer is one of Automobili Lamborghini SpA's representatives in the UK.
If the official dealer will not give you satisfaction, then you have the usual recourse of 'goods and services sold must be fit-for-purpose' legislation that may well apply and can be referred to as required.
If your complaint applies to a Lamborghini bought from a dealer who isn't an officially approved dealer, then your complaint is with that dealer, not with Automobili Lamborghini SpA.
Again, if such a dealer will not give you satisfaction, then you have the same legislation to use that may well apply.
If your complaint applies to a Lamborghini that's outside of the Automobili Lamborghini SpA warranty conditions, then your complaint will have to include valid reasons why Automobili Lamborghini SpA should offer any assistance with your complaint.
If you have a complaint that you feel is somehow an inbuilt problem with any car, (not just a Lamborghini), you will need to have pertinent information from a number of reputable engineers and gather their reports and present them for some kind of compensation through whichever court covers the complaint you have. Note, the word 'inbuilt' isn't the same as 'has just happened because of rough use and/or poor maintenance'...
With absolutely no further information about the nature of your complaint there can be no discussion further than that here; if your complaint were related to a new or 'within warranty' Ferrari, BMW, Ford or indeed any car at all, the same answers would apply and also please note, you should read the PistonHeads' policy regarding 'naming and shaming' before you post any potentially defamatory words that can't be substantiated or which might lead you to be at least banned from here if not rather more serious issues for yourself.
But please, tell us what the matter is anyway, just don't diss anybody or make comments that can't be proven if you can try not to and I'm sure that somebody will know what to do, for certain.

I didn't post any details originally as I wanted to give the dealer in question to step up to the mark and resolve matters first.
My car was in for some warranty work recently in connection with the roof. When the car came back, it was worse than before it went in by some way. It had also acquired a number of new scratches. The dealer said they would "resolve it one way or another", which I was content with at that point.
About a week after it came back, I had a reply from the dealer saying that Lamborghini Assist were not prepared to recover the car, and that I would need to get the car to them for evaluation.
I replied saying that it would be considerable cost and inconvenience for me to do so due to both the distance involved and needing to pay for a hire car while they had my car (they don't offer a loan car facility). It was at this point that I felt the need to complain to a higher authority. I personally believe this should be the responsibility of the dealer under the circumstances - not Lamborghini, nor myself. However, I'm sure Lamborghini have a vested interest in the conduct of their dealer network and would perhaps take an interest in the matter.
I've since had an email from the dealer saying that Lamborghini were now prepared to recover the vehicle and asking me to contact Lamborghini Assistance, so the matter is progressing and I don't currently feel the need to complain. At the time of the OP I was looking to keep my options open - as I'm sure you'll appreciate I was pretty steamed up.
So, here's hoping I'll end up receiving the kind of 5 star service you'd expect.

Your original post in those circumstances shows you were a fine example of the strongest lidded pressure cooker in full operation - I hope your steady, controlled and restrained release of that steam means that you do get the proper care and service you deserve... Those 5 stars would be just enough, I guess but maybe you could also get a hug from one of the two presidential wives in Normandy today... although I'd settle for hug from Carla
if there were only to be one hug on offer as Michelle Obama's teeth are far too bright imho...XXVIII said:

I only keep a bottle of it for times when I'm harboring ideas about husky-voiced, ex-models who are really Italians despite being married to very dwarfy not-very French Presidents...

dribble dribble dribble

a) that's XXVIII, being the Latin 'version' of 28, being the name of my business, all one of me and also the second perfect number being the sum of its divisors (ie, the sum of 1, 2, 4, 7, and 14. The next perfect number is 496, the first is 6.)
b) I'd not consider actual flesh interface goings-on with anybody not even Carla if it included presidential stumpies and
c) D & P are my initials, used in my 'actual' name and not of a fabrication that's both start/finish time limited and circumstance-created...
