Anybody running a blaster ignition module on their 280i

Car still isn't starting. Well it will start for a while (runs on all 6 nicely but then dies quickly there after). Get about 5 similar restarts before it needs to sit so the plugs dry out. Its getting fuel to the injectors. Nothing is going to the cold start injector (which the wiring was cut out at some point by a previous owner), I've tried blocking off the warm up regulator to increase pressure on the "rod" in the fuel distributor which changed nothing. Have the idle mixture as lean as possible. Getting fuel just fine so I'm assuming that it has something to do with the way the blaster 2 ignition is set up. It also had a msd tach conversion box but that at some point fried itself and now smells wonderful so it was removed. The tach wasn't working nor was it plugged to the neg of the coil. Worked fine the 1 time I attached it there and had a long enough run for it to start move.
