Speed Camera's on M62 Leeds J30, J29

I notice they're erecting big nasty yellow speed cameras along the M62 in Leeds around J30 backwards....loads of em.

Am I likely to get busted going 75mph? or do the people incharge of the cameras know that nearly everyone who drives on the motorway travel faster than 70mph?

Cheers good thing you posted that up,will be going all the way down past manchester in a few weeks,will keep my eyes open for them.
A few months ago there were some of those average speed cams up on the M62 not far down when you join at north cave,but was coming back down there last night and they've dissapeared now,i think it was while there were roadworks on.

yeah the north cave ones were for the roadworks. luckily for me the signs weren't up as i took a hire car through at banning speeds. i am mcr bound this weekend so cheers for the heads up on j30!

Quite possible,we have them at the north cave end(J38).

I think it's between Normanton and Tingley.

They start just before J29 and end just after J30...

I would assume they'll be around for a while and moving up/down the motorway.

I think they are re-doing the central reservation - a few trucks have ploughed through it recently so I think they are strengthening it.

Does anyone know the tolerence levels for average speed cameras? is it ACPO guidelines?
