I've heard there is a race from Scilly Isles to Orkney between a 1st class letter and a Porsche, and they try recreate the Dairy Milk airport vehicle advert?

I'm looking forward to a good race that'll be on this series - London to Edinburgh 1949-style. Yep, thats car (Jaguar XK/May) against bike (Vincent Black Shadow/Hammond), against train (A1 60163 Tornado/Clarkson).

I reckon it'll be a good one yes

Looks like he wasn't sitting in 1st class.

Clarkson, dressed in a boiler suit and covered in soot, appeared at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh after completing a Top Gear challenge

He was covered soot after travelling to the Scottish capital from London on a steam train
