just browsing like you do .ive been looking at this car or do you keep away from the early cars ,what is the difference between the early and later engines , ,suspension , steering etc thanks

Only problem, (and it's not really a problem so to speak) is the mileage. The engines like to be used and not sitting in a garage for months on end.

Looks in good condition and comes from a reputable dealer so if I was you, i'd at least go look if you're serious about buying one.

Belts ?!?, Mines got chains ?

It looks realy well looked after to me.
Even if it needs a few bits changing, your starting off with a good basis.

I've just bought a 2006 Tuscan. Its in much better condition than my first, a year 2000.
My new one has been used as a daily drive but my first impressions are that it needs a geometry set up, possible shocks and some noisey rear end bits to check out.
You simply wont know until youve driven and inspected it.

Do you know that for a fact? If (and if is a big if) it is still on original tyres then they should be replaced, but the original shocks could easily still be serviceable, and for all we know they are, or they could have been replaced.

If buying a low mileage car that is a few years old I agree that perishable items need to be checked, but not necessarily replaced.

And what is a 'C' service?

original shocks are terrible and tyres as old as 7-8 years won't hold the performance of this car
the rubber has hardened
not driving a car doesn't mean that you don't have to service it
