Came into work tonight and found..

Id just Luuurve to own one of those at some point. The only problem being they are quite expensive, and theyre probably just going to go up. Ideally id like to make it up as a replica of the BTTF car, but theyre made out of sheet steel and weigh about the same as a blue whale, so a v8 conversion wouldnt help much anyways
Im pretty sure its still more cool then the batmobile

A DeLorean is in my Lottery win garage.

Given the fact that they're, you know, quite s
t.
to be reliable in the future, they could have much better engines and the most common paintscheme is very unsusual. They're the past, future and present TVR, without the farty exhaust. AdamW said:

I know exactly what you're getting at, but

I can't do anything about the contradiction (unpainted is technically a paint code, surely!?), but the spelling mistake is set in stone now.
As for:

ETA or the looks for that matter. Bar the escape-limiting doors and the heavy bodywork they are pretty unremarkable to survey too.
Power I'll give you, that was left out of my post, and far from the original DeLorean ETA or the looks for that matter. Bar the escape-limiting doors and the heavy bodywork they are pretty unremarkable to survey too.

Handling? Dealing with one car versus an entire manufacture I'll continue my generalisation, one has dissapointing, numb, overburdened handling, the other has a sensitive but ultimately unpredictable, unrefined approach (PS,to my dear TVRistas, I haven't found a critical point in those findings, i'm just stating the facts), compared to cars of the same vintage. As for looks, at the time, the DeLorean was sculpted with the same long straight knife as the Jalpa and Pantera, all of which have stood the test of time, within the supercar bubble in my silly opinion. Looking at the designs of the past 5 years, they seem to seek out the older shapes, even the most mundane of family saloons have been swathed in Ulrich's finest moments. The most succesful Tivs are stuck in a timewarp, and I don't honestly think that they'll hit the same 'retro' preservation as the DeLorean, which really is a shame.
As usual, this is all in my opinion, so the opposite will likely happen and in 20 years the Cerbera will have all its basic spare parts in manufacture, and they will be worshipped as a cult icon, but those with hovering electric bubble cars will say that TVRs were poor handling, heavy engined tanks
. Oh and to add, in 20 years, unpainted bodywork will be the new reflex purple.
