When I went there I stayed in a Travelodge/Premier Inn/similar on the edge of Chester. Does the job.

We stay at the Holybush Inn at Little Leigh. You need to be able to handle LARGE meals though. It's got a large car park suitable for trailers as well.

Try The Pheasant Inn:
http://www.thepheasantinn.co.uk/
or the newly refurbed Bear's Paw:
http://www.thebearspaw.co.uk/

Both a little closer than any of the hotels/B&B's in Chester city centre but nowhere near as close as the Red Lion somebody else suggested. Both also have ample secure car parking with night time CCTV and I quite often see track day trailers/cars in the car park.

They are both great places to eat though should you want to stay in for a bite and an early night. Bear in mind I am rather bias though as they are owned and run by my friend and fellow piston header, co-incidently we were all at Oulton Park on Tuesday this week for a BHP trackday.

I have stayed on several occassions at a place called 'Willow Run' in Tarvin - about 6 miles away. Nice modern rooms/bathrooms, lovely restaurants in the village. Quiet and safe.

No suggestions on places to stay, but I'm at Oulton a week on Tuesday too.

We'll be driving a blue Striker with a small PH smiley badge on the back, pop over and say hi if you like.

I'd like to encourage people to stay in the local, non chain places around oulton,or any racetrack,to help the real local economy and get locals to appreciate the business,i hope this helps with the soon to come 'lets ban anything to do with unecessarry fuel use' brigade.
We need to use everyway possible to keep our hobby safe.

Agreed. Plus they usually nicer too, the owners like a good chinwag and often take an interest in your steed - so long as you find a place without carpets in the bathroom.

Agreed. Great little place to stop. The owner likes his cars too. Has a very tidy....well I won't say in case it attracts unwelcome visitors.
