Hi all. Mate of mine done by a Gatso doing 44 in a 30. Will this be 3 points and £60 ? Also he has just got his NIP and it's from June. Is this still OK ? Cheers
If the car was registered in his own name, and he hasn't moved house in the meantime etc. then it sounds like he's in the clear as the NIP must be posted within 14 days of the offence.
But if it's a company car then it's another story!
Sounds to me like he gets his missus to complete the form - his details, but no signature = thrown out of court = happy days.
Tell him to be more careful in future, it could have been a kid at the side of the road.
