my xj8 cuts out when i get over 70 any ideas whatsssssssssss wrong

Most likely throttle bodies. Specialist charged me around £200 to fix IIRC.

I think the throttle recall finished 1st June, but worth checking with Jag

We had a similiar problem with one recently, changed all the management relays and that sorted the problem
