Thunder and lightening

Went for a ride on Friday afternoon. Weather looked a bit cloudy, and as we set off it started to rain a little, but nothing major. Got just over half way, and the heavens opened, with sheets of rain coming down. Then just as we hit the last wooded section, the thunderstorm hit us!
Awesome! Took refuge in a bus shelter for a while then pressed on for home, a hot shower, coffee and cookies, yum
