Saxo not getting 2nd,4thor reverse

Hi lads,
I've just changed a clutch on a friends 1.1 saxo (Mk1) but now i cant get it to go into above gears. Because the linkages are cathching the exhaust flange.
Now i thought i could of put them on with the box in gear but when the stick in in neutral position i can freely turn the wheels and when i go for 1st,3rd or 5th then it turns the other wheel meaning i have gear.
I've played with the gearbox mount tightend it up loosend it right off and its still the same.
What have i missed?
As it wasn't like this before i did the job.

cured it the bottom mount was fitted the wrong way
