In car video - fraud prevention
Discussion
All, I am getting more and more paranoid about drivers fraudulently causing accidents. In the past few weeks several drivers have performed stunts that could only have been aimed for me to crash into them and then claim from me. I am also a bit paranoid about over eager bib so would like recommendations for a good quality recording kit that turns on with the ignition, records without too much shake and has a big enough recording capacity to cover long distance drives, potentially automatically going back and over writing as it runs out of memory. Solid state would be the best option to prevent head crashes in a crash.
Any ideas?

Should be simple enough?
Something like this:

connected to a HDD video cam would be easy.

thanks guys! Thinking that mounting in the front air dam might be the best option? Like the idea of the night vision too. I presume all I would need to do is hook it to a cam corder and it would start recording as soon as I press the button?
I'd be hoping it could be all wired into the cars power source so I do not have to worry about batteries and charging etc. As for microphone location where would be good? I was thinking perhaps in the air box/engine bay
