Desperately seeking an anesthesiologist - anyone?
Discussion
I've got ibuprofen, cocodamol, codydramol, diclofenac, and diazepam.
The pain isn't a problem, i've lived with it for 12 years, the problem is that i need to get the muscles around my lumber region (especially L3 L4 L5 S1) to rrreeelllaaaxxx (just like Frankie said!).
Last time it was this bad (about 6 or 7 years ago) i had an epidural and then carried on with the diazepam and ibu's and within a couple of days i was 99% again. Right now i'm about 10%

I can sympathise as I've had spine pain (neck) forever too. Chiropractors help, a friend who's a cyclist swears by acupuncture having tried everything else for his lower back pain. Tried hang upside down, that's supposed to help too! And Berkshire Physio, about quarter of a mile away, really sorted my wife's back out.
I've tried chiropractor, osteopath, two different types of acupuncture, nothing works for me other than exercise (which is why i normally swim about 5 miles a week).
Unfortunately my back has seized up, so i need to unseize it so that i can get back to normality and swimming and all the usual stuff. Hence the need for an epidural...

call your doctors and get on call quack out he will give you diazapam immeadiately and a prescription. Well thats what my one did six months back, if all else fails that has got to be better than the pain you are in.

As I already said to you, nothing has worked for my Dad's terminal back problems either - the epidural is the only thing that's worked for him.Unfortunately my back has seized up, so i need to unseize it so that i can get back to normality and swimming and all the usual stuff. I can find out who he used if you like, but he has had it done privately every time.

A doctor friend tells me that this place would do the work on a 'cash' basis:
