Which brave/foolhardy GT owner took it to Waitrose car park in Twyford yesterday? Could not believe that anyone of sound mind would risk a supermarket run in one of these

Why on earth not? I go to the dump in mine as well as to the supermarket, I was camping in Wales with it the week before last. I know loads of Bentley owners with Vintage, Derby & Crewe cars. They go shopping and all the usual running around in them. Many are daily drivers, and the Continental GT is very probably the most 'daily driver' of all Bentleys anyway.

I was at Tesco in Baldock last week when I noticed what I thought was a Clarissa Dickson Wright look-a-like but dressed as a particularly convincing bag-lady/tramp. She proceeded to wander over to a Flying Spur and instead of doing what I expected, i.e. spit on it or pour the contents of a can of Special Brew all over it, she unlocked it, got in and drove away in it!

GT's are great for everyday use, I dont have one but my dad does and he use's for everything. But on the note of supermarket car parks the best ive seen wes a Ferrari F40 in Tesco car park in Flitwick, I stayed and looked at it and sent the misses in by herself smile

When I get my Bentley Turbo it'll get used as an every day car: kids to school, meetings, shopping, hooning, etc..
