SP12 Tyre Pressures?

I've read on here that 24psi all round is the best on the standard wheels, but what about with SP12's and 265 rears? Any ideas?! Cheers! Dom

when i bought mine, they told me 26psi is good
allround, track/road

Also, guage readings vary ridiculously - I've found up to 8psi

So best to invest in a £20-£30 reputable guage not a cheap one, or your tyre wear and/or performance will costs you a lot more than the guage

26 PSI, cheers - mine were set to 24 front and 26 back, according to the petrol station air pump! Think i'll do them using a proper guage to 26 all round and see how that goes - anyone have any idea on nitron settings with the SP12's too?! Cheers! Dom

Hmm mine seems to be pulling around a fair bit on any less than perfect roads, maybe its the shocks that are out! Are you running nitrons? If so what settings do you run front/back?

In my experience 265's look good but are useless on track/hard driving/bumpy b roads unless you had some ridiculous ride height. 245 is the optimum width on a T car. 255 absolute max on 18 x 8 1/2 inch wheels even then you still get some rub.

I've got Gaz Golds. I think they are on 22/20 at the moment. Possibly still a bit firm.
