On the way to Thorpe park earlier today and in traffic on the M25 near the A3, I found myself sitting next to a nice shiny GTR. Quite a big beasty to be honest but looked lovely - quad exhausts looked nice too. Anyway, as luck would have it he turned off at the same junction as me and lo and behold we found a nice empty bit of dual-carriageway to play on. I reckon he had the pedal down but I didn't find it difficult to match his acceleration even when short-shifting at 6Krpm between 3rd and 4th (slightly damp road - wheels spun up a little changing into 4th
, which was nice...)
Just thought I would share - nice car, bit quiet but pokey enough....lol

Those Jap Drifter cars are quick, be careful tho, my experience of the drivers are that they are prepared to commit hari-kiri to win!
Ime not sure about the defenitition of win but it seems to include dangerous exploits...nuff said. One went passed me and the car in front last Nov, as he hit the R/Bout all wheels in the air...turbo spitting! a gotta pass gotta pass dont care who I kill mentality

Well, I doubt very, very much he was only on half throttle but I guess I could be wrong....I'm just glad I got a chance to see one up close and have a bit of a dance

One of the guys that works for me is a "Nissan" man, some of the HP figures he shows me are mental, he still has respect for TVR tho

Approx 270 bhp/ton vs. 350 bhp/ton. (not sure of exact GTR weight). The numbers suggest that in a straight line a Tuscan will be a fair bit quicker.
