Whats the legality of having my detectors stuck..

I've got 2 detectors in my car. A Bell stuck to the windscreen just under the rear view mirror. My Blue I is just above the Speedo but actually mounted on a thing that's sticks to the windscreen.
I know the detectors are completely legal but is it Ok to have stuff stuck to the windscreen. I presume it must be as the rear view mirror is mounted in the same way ???

Just a guess - but as long as they don't interfere with your field of vision......
