Magnusson 122 supercharger for sale
Discussion
It still isn't finshed to tell you the truth as we are waiting for one 8 rib pulley to arrive from Magnusson before the power runs can begin. Mark has offered me a deal on the TVS and the engine, which is hungry for air deserves it.
I hope so. I've heard some really impressive stories about both the 1900 and the 2300, much more efficient and good for big power. You only live once

Hi Paul, My VXR8 is with Mark for a TVS2300 at the moment, looks an awesome bit of kit.

So what sort of power does this give when installed ?
On my engine it'll make well over 700 fwhp. On 6ltr LS2 Monaro or VXR8 I guess 600-650+ HP. Mine is a forged 6.3 litre stroked with big cam and heads. The blower has still made 18psi maxxed out.

Will it work on a 5.7 ?
Mine was a standard 5.7 CV8 when it was fitted. On a VZ 2005 Monaro like mine it made 511hp. On a V2 2004 model CV8 it will do 530hp. The limiting factor isn't the supercharger but what it's bolted to. If your CV8 is standard there is no better value kick in the pants. It will transform any standard Monaro. It also made 670lbs torque on my car.

Mine had a wortec cat back when it made 511hp but otherwise standard. With headers you might gain an extra 20hp on that. Limiting factor on the ls1 is the heads but assuming yours is otherwise standard let me tell you a supercharger like this makes a huge difference to performance. Makes a cool noise too.
If you got a useable 18psi outta a 122 on a free breathing engine.
A...I`d eat my hat.
B...You`d be keeping it rather than shelling out very large wonga on a TVS.
C...It would be putting out North of 850 HP which just wouldn`t happen.
Sorry mate but I`ve been there with the 122 and know its limits.
(Like you do now)
On a good setup the best you can expect is slightly north of 600 on a cold day.

Jez, I'm not getting a TVS because my 122 is lacking and you have no idea what I'm paying for it. I don't tell lies either, I simply relay what I'm told.
Also, how can you say what a 122 is capable of when you bolted it to a standard LS2? Munky has already shown what's possible by simply adding a cam. Do your homework and you will find plenty of people who've smashed the 600whp barrier.
