Rushmoor Cafe, North Camp is the best in the area imo, planning a run that'll end there soon smile

Southwest of Reading mate.

We've actually met once before in Winnersh, check my profile and you should recognise the car.

Gorge is still good - if the sausages were better it would rule all.
There's a new place in Caversham which is good - it's called Alto.
Unbelievably, the Tootsies in the Oracle is good for a full english (although not of usual PH size or substance smile) and eggs benny.
I've never tried it but there is a cafe called Pete's Cafe on the Ocky Road. Judging by the clientele though, it might be best avoided.
On a Saturday, Macs Cafe was good to us when watching the Australia and Malaysian grand prix. Not open on Sundays as a rule though.

Where? ears

Last time I went to the Gorge it was distinctly average. I'm willing to write that off as a temporary blip in form though.

We ended up in the Gorge and I'll agree with "distinctly average". All very well cooked and not too pricey. Just poor quality sausages and bacon that meant I couldn't really enjoy it. You could tell they were the cheapest they could find. Plus, the coffee was fking awful!
