heater by-pass

Hi,
would anyone have a picture of the heater by-pass pipe on a serpentine engine model. I've been rummaging around in the passanger footwell and dont seam to be able to find it. I was expecting an H shaped pipe arrangement just before the heater valve but its not there. I have the 2 steel coolant tubes snaking around under the heater box, not sure if this is part of the heater by-pass as the pipes are lagged so I cant see if they are actually connected
