Wheel Bearing on Warranty?

Guys,

Just bought a 2006 Mondeo ST TDCI which has 4 months of warranty remaining and done 28k. At around 40mph I can a noticable whine from the passenger side.

Question is, is this likely to be classified as wear and tear or will Ford cover it?

Any idea on the labour involved on replacing a bear, front or rear. I know the front bearing is cheap, but the rear expensive as it's part of a sealed unit.
