Don't think heat is a good idea..... Think a drill & Tap is the way to go here Dom!

Good old soak in wd40 and leave overnight i sometimes try to tighten before trying to undo.Be patient and use new allen key.if all else fails washer over bolt incase drill slips and carefully drill out.

I'd try for a small left hand thread easy out, use a small adjustable and once you've drilled it in, gently tap it as you unscrew it. (again stick a large washer over the head while drilling!)

If they are dome heads and you can get at them easily, then cover the surrounding area with tape and cut a straight slot across the heads with a dremel and 1" disc. Then just remove them with the largest flat blade screwdriver bit you can find. If any of the fixings (blind nuts etc) are part of a moulding they will only stand slight heat before becoming loose so go easy with power tools....keep the cutting/frictional heating to a minimum.
