You think that was bad, at the 2006 British GP after party we had DC and Tony Jardine talking on stage about the amount of Condoms DC sent to Jardines hotel room when Jardine was at DCs place for the Monaco GP. Jardine added It would have been okay if they weren't used. It made me laugh so much I fell over and dislocated my finger. I doubt if the BBC will allow a grid walk from the pair again. I have noticed Brundle seems less into his job this year. I guess it is probably the 'Legard effect', but he doesn't speak as often, or as enthusiastically as he used to.
He's probably fed up of sitting with Legard for an hour, fed up of being talked over etc. But when he does speak, it's usually something interesting, and the grid walk is as good as ever (especially with DC!).Could he be lining up to replace Brundle?

DC's got an IMO at RedBull the polesitter, so why not?Could he be lining up to replace Brundle?

JB was game on as well, so they new it would be straight forward, no " I'll pick a random person on the grid" scenario when MB's got no-where to go.
Plus of course, the grids always epty at the Turkey GP
As Brundle gets further away from his F1 seat, I would imagine the "I used to be a driver" lead in, has less influence.
He's been a lot more technical in his input this year, and looks like he really enjoys his job.

I for one wouldn't like to see Brundle go any time soon. For me he really makes the F1 coverage, since he has enough 'qualifications' to know what he's talking about and his approach works too.
I also couldn't imagine anyone else having the same front on the Grid-Walk to get in there and talk to people.
