Fiat servicing in or near Preston / Lancaster in Lancashire
Discussion
Hi
My mother has just inherited a Fiat Bravo Grande 1.9 diesel from my brother, a 56 plate with a slighty chunky mileage of c55,000. It is now due its 3rd service and, having not had a Fiat since I had an X-19 back in the early 80's, I was not sure if there were any good independents in the Preston / Lancaster area or if it was best to go to a main dealer? Even this does not seem to be that easy as, as far as I can work out, the Fiat dealer in Preston has now become an all model MotorPark set up, apparently still does servicing but I am guessing that a good independent is probably a better bet?
My only previous experience of Fiat servicing was bl*ody awful - i took my X-19 in for an oil and brakes service and they "forgot" to change the oil and then told me that it was new oil just that it was a batch of black oil....
This was back in the 90's and I am sure they are much better now........!
Many thanks for any pointers
Phil
