Exhaust rattlin

With the Wortec Sport Pac setup, the point around the mufflers where the pipes come together has two metal connecting braces which have developed a progressively worse rattle. Rattles louder than the motor when idling along in first and second gear. The VX garage reckons I ought to arrange some welding.
Anyone with similar experience and possible solution? Thought it'd be as simple as tightening up my bits rather than adding more...

Take it to your wortec dealer and they will advise us and we can advise the solution for them

Nope it aint normal. Mine started around 70K miles on the clock. Now I'm pushing 80K and the noise is more pronounced. It's becoming a bit of a head turner. I suspect you can only bang metal on metal for so long before it leads to something nasty.
