Headlight Repair - Ambersil Help

All four of my light covers (front & back) are starting to separate & fog up. I've got the Sikaflex but I live in France & I can't find anyone here who stocks Ambersil 5024A, or anyone overseas who will deliver it to me...

Does anyone know of another alternative I could use that might be available in Europe? Or, does anyone here have any left over that they'd be willing to post to France that I could possibly buy off them please?

Why don't you use the sickaflex to cap off the lights as well as using it to bond them?

PM me your address and I will buy it for you (I want to but a tube to keep as a spare) and ship it to France, should work out about £12 inc the posting on to you. I found this guy on ebay, might be worth asking if he will ship to france and you could buy direct?

I think it would be quite difficult to get a good finish doing it this way & almost impossible to get the lights off without damage should the same happen again. It's frustrating because you only need a tiny little bit... Maybe I should pipe my new bathroom with black sealant as well!

Don't agree.
Just done my fronts using the sickaflex/ambersill route.
The ambersil is shiney black the old stuff was'nt when i removed the lamps also the rears arn't.
More of a dull black boardering on grey colour.
You can cut the silicone just as easy as the sickaflex with a craft knife.
I might of made a poor job but when washing the car you can catch the silicone and rip it off you can't with sickaflex.
I have also just repaired the side windows with sickaflex and capped them off.
When i do my rears over winter i will use sickaflex only.
Also replaced the rear lamps on my chim with sickaflex only.
This is my car i have worked on and it may not be the same as other owners and is my experience.
