Well after the female PHs admitting to all and sundry that most are not girly girls what do you men folk prefer?

Do you like to be the dominant alpha male type and have a girl be all prissy and princess like?

I thought I prefered the ladies who are more like myself, ability to do manual things, understand cars, etc. However looking into the ladies in my past I have always gone for the princess types (usually psychos too). Maybe subconsciously I need to be the dominant alpha type, or I just am a sucker for a girl in a red dress.

So what do the rest of the PH population prefer, and what have your partners been like?

Somewhere in between I think. I can't stand girls that are all like 'hehehe look a baby hehehhe isn't it so cute hehehe omg it just blew a bubble hehehe how cute is that hehehe'

fking hell...

At the same time I don't like girls that look as though they could kick the st out of me, fart in public and can grow a better beard than me.

Femininity is important to me. I couldn't stand a woman who was all 'cushions and teddies', but I do prefer women who enjoy their femininity.

I like a girly girl. One of the reasons I love english girls so much (over Aussie girls), theyre more feminine. Its the little things unique to girls that make them so awe inspiring.

I also like that 308miss isnt into cars or bikes. Means we get to do our own things.

For me they've got to pass the canvas test.

..if they can put up with a few nights in a tent / outdoor weekend break, then you are onto a pretty good thing.

..if however she looks like she lives in a tent and is in no rush to get under a hot shower when you get back home: AVOID.

It's the same as women who like football, playing rugby or anything else considered by the majority as 'manly'. There has to be something 'manly' about a woman who likes cars, and that varies between women I guess...for me it's just that I like the feeling of acceleration and power (which most of my girlie friends find scary) smile

I've always gone for the tomboy type. Women who can be women when they need to be, but the rest of the time are perfectly normal.

Depends.

If I'm fixing a car obviously a butch trained mechanic would be useful.

For playing hide the sausage then bimbos are more than welcome.

Its all about the application...

Another one for 'somewhere in the middle'!

Prefer her not to drink pints. Or grow stubble.
But, couldn't put up with one 'wetter than a haddocks bathing costume', either.

Applicants must be female and able to hurl an adult Labrador over a double decker bus whilst wearing stilletos and a slashed-to-the-waist designer gown.

A bit of both really. Make up, high heels and fishnets I find a total turn off; to me that's like looking at a chavved up Saxo - all bling and no real performance or handling (when the standard VTS is actually a very good driver's car). Equally though, I can't stand bossy women who are constantly trying to prove themselves to you and get one step ahead. My ideal woman is just chilled out, fun and friendly.

Im 50/50 tbh

My lass is older, earns more than me and is higher educated as well as being a big mythbusters fan for the explosions ( biggrin ) and quite enjoys going to car shows/helping me pull mine apart and a good night in is a takeaway, movie and other things so she is pretty tomboy and could be the boss if she chooses (but i have the car and the licence so dictate when we can/cant go out)

but she turns into a right girlie girl when it comes to shopping (Oh how i hate you Lush and Bodyshop) not to mention shoe shopping and spending time with the girls. I put that down to her having to be tomboy'ish and bossy at work (she is just shy of being 5 foot tall and everyone who works under her is taller) and wanting a change when she is not at work
