Nitrons - Southampton Area

Any kind soul out there with nitron shocks on a Griff or Chimaera within striking distance of Southampton that would be willing to take me for a quick spin (hopefully not literally),before I bite the bullet and splash out on an upgrade? Just want an idea of the ride quality on 'normal' roads.
