they really have whacked up their prices this year mind you the £/€ has probably not helped tbh

No, not the Campanile (I think that's how it's spelt) but the Ibis on the northern outskirts of Falaise. This year I'm paying 60E a night for each of two single rooms, staying there Friday and Sunday nights (sleeping in the car at the circuit Saturday night).

It must be you! I well remember meeting up at the Ibis with a group of Le Mans fans travelling by coach (minibus?) last year and having a some beers together. I recall that on the Sunday night there was a football match involving France and watching it on TV in a bar with several locals. Well, I'm looking forward to seeing you and others again this year. I'll be in my Jaguar S-Type as before and my son will be with me too..he's been coming with me every other year since '96 and to all Le Classics too.

yep, that was us! the footie game involved us lot taking the piss out of the locals when france were loosing......you must be the guy in the green jag we spent far to long talking to on friday night!!!!
were also staying friday and sunday - but not sleeping in car saturday - were going the full 36 hours this time......lol.
