Who's watched/watching the movie?
Discussion
So, last night, I promised the OH we could watch as many episodes of Casualty as necessary in return, if she promised not to whinge at all during two hours of non-stop Porsche 917 porn. Out came a couple of particularly nice beers from the Lade Inn brewery and on went the DVD - stereo turned well up obviously.
Anyone else gone through this ritual recently?

No didnt watch the movie but I did watch Motors TV with a documentary about 100 years of Le Mans fantastic programme especially the bit where Steve McQueen laid on the whit line in the middle of the Mulsanne to get some footage of the high speed bits for the film imagine laying there with cars hitting nearly 200mph now that is totally bonkers

Le Mans will be watched as part of the 'not going' ritual
This is my first "not going" year so will definitely fit in the dvd in between the cricket, live Le Mans coverage and Radio Le Mans. Maybe I'll save this for Friday after I've spent the day sat roadside in Sheffield holding up my "Spank It" sign for passing cars.gsx600 said:
Was thinking of sticking it in the dvd player whilst waiting for disembarking the ferry tomorrow morning
Now that's an idea! (Wish I had an onboard DVD palyer now)
ETA: Think I might have just realised where the name for Steve McQueen's character comes from! I've just noticed the road heading into the circuit is called Rue de Laigne.
