I'm confused here.

What is the current fastest ever time on the hill?

I ask because I was under the impression that it was set by Martin Groves in a Gould in 2007, on a 36s run. Yet according to the entry list, the record is held by Graeme Wight Jnr, at 37.22s (listed as the class record, which is the same class as Groves anyhow)

Or am I missing something?

Fantastic, cheers for the reply Graeme.

I *love* the Predator, and I'm only sorry I didn't get to see you on your run that day.

Are you not competing this month at Doune?

ETA: Is that the little Blue imp with the Saltire on the roof?

Yes the wee blue imp, its going threw a engine transplant at the moment, putting in a 2.5 rover KV6 and not getting much time on it.
The Electric car is well behind, more info on it can be found here http://www.electricracing.co.uk/ cant wait for it, its going to be very quick
Im not planning on racing at the mo, building a busa version of my Predator, (RAPTOR) and wont race until its going.

Not just of steel but the size of water melons. Simple equation for fast run is Balls the size of water melons + Very tight harnesses = very fast run

The reasoning behind this is that if the harness is loose, the Steel-watermellon-sized Balls can Move slightly within the car which can affect the rollcentre and cross weights.....Thus you require to hold the big balls in exactly the right and pre-calculated spot within the vehicle...

...I am sure the good book on Competition Car Suspension by Allan Staniforth has a whole chaper devoted to the retention of Big Balled people in lightweight cars.....
