I'm organising a run out from this side of the Pennines to t'other side and ending up at Tan Hill, anyone fancy joining us??? Below is an itinerary of where we'll be at certain times

Anyone at a loose end this weekend? Fancy a run out across the moors and through the Dales to http://www.tanhillinn.com/? Meet at William Loughran's http://www.williamloughran.co.uk for 10 A.M. (that's when they open and he's got some luverly cars there at the moment) then set off for Tan Hill where (if we get the numbers) they'll lay out the barn for us so that we'll be assured of food as they do get VERY busy on a Sunday. Tan Hill is the highest pub in England and was made famous with the Everest double glazing advert, if you're old enough to remember it If you can't make it for 10, then the route will be:-

A59 TO CLITHEROE (11ish)
B6478 to CLAPHAM (via GISBURN FOREST)(GISBURN FOREST 11.30ish)
B6479 SETTLE to HAWES (SETTLE for 12ish, HAWES 12.30ish)
TAN HILL for 1 P.M.

Please cut & paste if you're coming so that I can notify people with the numbers. Thanks.

Hello Marcus,
No probs, that's why I've advertised the route with approx times for those wishing to join en route. The weather forecast is dry at the moment.

Hi'ya Marcus, the best place would be the road out of Clitheroe heading towards Waddington. As you cross the bridge over the river Ribble, there's a longish straight where you'll be able to park up safely to wait for us. If you want to PM me your mobile number, I'll then be able to give you a better eta, although you'll hear the 'grale a mile or so away hehe. The forecast looks good. Cheers.

If anyone is planning on coming along, could they please own up as it'd be polite to let the pub know the numbers. At the moment I've got 3 people meeting at Loughran's, 1 just outside Clitheroe and 2/3 in Hawes. Thanks.
