seen pictures of mk1's with and without splitter

was this fitted to all mk 1 rs's as mine doesnt have one?

looking to fit one from pumaspeed, is it going to seriously reduce ground clearance as there is a bit of a slope to get up my drive?

As said it's not a standard fit item but an aftermarket mod.

You can get either a fibreglass version from Pumaspeed or a company called Creative Carbon do a carbon fibre version of the splitter.

In either case the splitter will add about 10mm in depth to the bottom of the bumper.

I've got the carbon version on mine & the car is also lowered about 25mm on KW coilovers & find that the splitter will still clear normal height road humps & speed humps in car park entrances, and similar, etc fine so long as you go over them slowly & carefully. However if you have a steep incline or decline on your drive even on standard height suspension you will scrape the splitter
