Took my eye off the ball when reversing the vette out of the garage and did this.

I only had a couple of inches to spare on that side (1930's garage) got distracted, a little bit of lock and.....
I will take it out to Steve Walker in Bathgate tomorrow and see what he says.

Hi G. Sorry to see that. Hopefully will get it all sorted quickly. At least you didnt do what one of myDads old customers did. They had an old Rover 3.5l Auto and revved it up and knocked it into reverse instead of 1st. Went straight through the back of the brick garage.

ah nightmare. I did similar but not as bad with the Hensen. Picked it up from the paintshop with its brand new paintjob, drove it all the way home then as i was reversing into my drive caught the rear arch on my van bumper and scraped off a bit of paint. i was gutted. it did however have no mirrors and the rear view was just one big blindspot so i kina have an excuse.
Thanks for all your kind words, and no I wont be taking the governments scrappage(note the 2 P's) scheme...yet!
As Matt, No2 son (Mattius on this forum) said we all have stupid moments, mind you his usually involve trees!
I will take it to Steve Walker tomorrow, but if anyone has recomendations for good spraying, especially on fibreglass, I will be happy to hear from them.
Cheers
Graeme

I am using JRM Coachworks at Roseburn/Murrayfield in Edinburgh for a minor scratch. I used them last month for a bust taillight, the month before a refurb of my wheels and so far the service and the price has been excellent. Nick
I will be checking with them as well, Matt had his Spitfire painted there, good job!G

there is no shame in hottie distraction!
istoo you are correct theres no shame in hottie distraction the embarrasing bit for someone of Graham's age is the time taken to think about what he might do with the hottie. Sorry Graham could'nt resist. Hope you get your beloved sorted ASAP so you can take it to Doune next weekend as I make my comebackRegards Trevor
