The number of RAF pilots available has put a bit of a dampener on the proceedings, but it's still looking promising.

The Blades (of The Apprentice fame...) are going to be there.
Typhoon
A solo Spit display
Hercules
The Black Cats
The Falcons
A solo Mustang display

"Sally B" will be displaying:

And (mrs k will confirm on Friday) XH588 Vulcan is pencilled in to display as well!

Oh. And the Reds as usual!

Yup the tin triangle had an engine run today and a test flight tomorrow apparently. If all goes well and the weather is good then xh558 should be attending supposedly.

XH558 should be doing a practice display over Cosford at 1330 today and then another at 1400 over Brize Norton.

The weather forecasters at Shawbury are expecting early haze on Sunday, clearing to give occasional cloud at high level and excellent visibility.

Vulcan is the last to display at about 18.00 hours there or thereabouts bounce

Saw the Chinock and Typhoon practicing yesterday whilst i was in the area.

Very impressed and the Typhoon did some wonderful low level flying over the area.

Boy does it make a noise smile

It was glorious weather for an air show today!

The Blades were very impressive, and the Chinook as mad as ever silly

Good to see a Griffon-engined Spit, and a couple of classic jets (Vampire & Sabre).

Missed it. Spent all day cursing and swearing under the GTO, in order to ready it for it's MoT next week.

bks.

Thanks for posting the videos, but I think you need to buy a tripod! Rather shakey

It was the best I could manage at the time, chief.

Mrs K sent me a txt from Cosford Tower at about 14.30 stating that the Vulcan was going to do a practice flight at 16.00 hrs.

So the vids were taken with a compact digi camera at short notice.

I will try harder next time.
