Is there a easy DIY way to remove a bonded window without just smashing it ?

I'm far from being an auto glass expert but I think you may need a "cold knife" if the glass is countersunk I.E. flush with the bodywork.

For example:

You should be able to find one at a well stocked autoparts store.

or a long flexible blade, try heating it up with a heat gun . it'll be tough but it'll come in the end.

It's not a simple DIY job and is really something that you need experience to do if you want to get the glass out in one piece for reuse; ideally a glass technician who specialises in doing remove and refit work for bodyshops.
If you need a name in the Teeside area, please mail me as I can recommend someone who should be able to help.
